Dear friends of the Film Festival,
It has now been a good four months since the 51st Wuerzburg International Film Festival, months in which the festival staff have already been busy preparing the next edition. The program group is in contact with German and international film producers in order to design the program for the 52nd International Film Festival. But new ideas are also emerging in terms of organization! Perhaps there will be a new, additional venue? You can be curious!
But even now in summer, film fans don’t have to miss out on the film festival. As in previous years, the Wuerzburg film initiative will once again be taking part in Umsonst & Draußen 2025. Not with films, because the U&D naturally focuses on music. But the film initiative will be running a drinks stand where festival staff will be selling drinks and will also be available for discussions. Anyone who would like to help out at the film festival, for example, can get in touch here. We are at drinks stand C between the main entrance and the bridge.
The film initiative is also planning to accompany its fans through the summer with cinematography. There are already some initial ideas. You can find news about this on the festival website, in the newsletter or on our social media channels!
