Der Film veranschaulicht zum einen das Lied „Liegen ist Frieden“ der Sängerin Elen aus Berlin. Zum anderen vermittelt er die Botschaft, dass es im positiven Sinne ansteckend ist und gut tut, sich hinzulegen. Wäre es nicht besser, wenn Menschen sich einfach mal ausruhen, sich hinlegen, als immer herumzuhetzen?
