The International Film Festival Wuerzburg, in cooperation with the Municipal Media Center Wuerzburg, has put together a selection of feature films, documentaries and short films for children and young people from the media center’s film offerings. Some of the films have already been shown at the International Film Festival in previous years. The films are available to all schools in the city and district of Wuerzburg via the media center’s media catalog and/or the MEBIS media library.

During the school lockdown teachers can make these films available to their students to stream at home or watch together as a class after the lockdown. To access the films you will need the school’s login credentials to the media center’s online service (the credentials are available to school administrators) or your MEBIS accounts.
The complete line-up with further information is available here.
The Film Festival Wuerzburg has been working closely with DOK.fest Munich for several years. The DOK.education team has developed digital teaching units staggered by age groups, which teachers can access during the 47th International Film Festival Wuerzburg (28th of January – 3rd of February 2021). The units are also suitable for distance teaching.
