| | | Berlin, Prenzlauer Berg. Attila, the fireman can eat glas. But this ability doesn’t help him with his relationship. His girlfriend Sabine leaves him. She wants more from life. She wants to be a host on a TV show and Attila doesn’t fit into this new plan for her life. Erika is a TV host, but she is not happy with her life, either. She is in the process of loosing the connection to her husband Ulf, who – bored and cynical as he is – is just watching as their relationship runs into a dead end and distracts himself from problems in his marriage by using his psychological knowledge to capture women’s hearts... Their adolescent son moves through his life driven by hormones and trying to avoid his parents. The forthcoming guest on Erika’s show, Rosine, a shy, television-addicted baker, suddenly calls off her appearance. This leaves Erika desperately looking for a new candidate to come on her show. Out of the window she sees Attila in the house next door...
