| | | Forty-year-old novelist Hans Schiller has become successful overnight and wants to celebrate his newfound status with Helene and Tom, his best friends from college. He plans a festive reunion, to which each is required to bring a date. Eccentric Helene brings her boyfriend, a car polisher. Wannabe actor, Tom, is joined by Charlotte, a world-weary art collector. Hans, the host of the whole shebang, is accompanied by his very young, very new flame, Angela, a young hairdresser from the suburbs. Old petty jealousies soon turn the festive meal into a disaster...
