| | | Alfred Ehrhardt (1901 – 1984) was one of the most important photographers of the so called „Neue Sachlichkeit“, a group of artists in the years of 1920 who focussed reality in a very objective way. But Ehrhardt got als well many inspirations being student of Wassily Kandinsky and Paul Klee at the „Bauhaus“ in Dessau. Although Ehrhards photographs and his enormous number of documentary films, that show the fascination of natural forms of landscapes (for example in Iceland) and of organic objects like bizarre seashells had been very successfull – many of them got awards - his work is almost forgotten today. Niels Bolbrinker tries to show the unique „look“ of Alfred Ehrhardt onto a nature, that he realised as beeing threatend by civilisation.
